This Tuesday, the RCOC (Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce) is bringing an important seminar to Ridgefield, Connecticut: Facebook 101 for Business. The event will be presented by local SMO (social media optimization) guru Kate Fitzpatrick, as she explains the importance, and details of marketing on the largest social network. The topic will be focused on local marketing to cater to Connecticut’s proud and growing local enterprises.
Social media provides a golden opportunity for a business to interact with customers, provide them with useful information, gain valuable insight and keep your business top of mind. Facebook is the biggest of all the social networks, by far, based on just about every measure. But it’s a constantly evolving platform based on algorithm changes, new tools, and shifting demographics.
“Your business may have a solid marketing strategy, but are you an effective Facebook marketer? Facebook estimates that it is home to more than 2.5 BILLION users. With 90 million small businesses using Facebook, how will yours get noticed? Did you know that not everyone who has Liked your page will automatically see your posts? Have you seen a marked decrease in organic reach on your business page posts? When was the last time you checked your insights page?”
Those interested in joining are encouraged to contact the RCOC in advance as space it limited.
